Abandoned project in the north of Bucharest, transformed into a large aparthotel

Entrepreneurs Nicolae Gavra and Sorin Suru, owners of the Timcon builder from Timișoara, are preparing the transformation of an old unfinished office building in the Băneasa Forest area into an aparthotel with 321 rooms, according to documents analyzed by Profit.ro.
Nicolae Gavra and Sorin Suru bought an unfinished office building on Bucuresti-Ploiești Boulevard no. 147.
The 6-storey building consists of 4 bodies and was developed by a company of businessman Dan Tatoiu in 2009-2010. The developer entered insolvency in 2012 with debts of around 207 million lei. Imobpractic bought the land and the building at auction and entered the credit table with an accepted claim of 28.2 million lei.
