A resident of Lesosibirsk sued a Krasnoyarsk resident more than 233 thousand rubles per secondshell smartphone.

As follows from the case materials, at the beginning of 2025, the woman found an advertisement in one of the telegram channels for the sale of a new phone for 70 thousand rubles and decided to buy it. A seller from Krasnoyarsk, who has self-employed status, asked to transfer the entire cost of the goods to his card and delivered it the next day.

“However, upon opening the box, the woman discovered that the phone was not new at all, but had already been used. Moreover, the device had an obvious defect – a bulge on the inside of the screen,” Rospotrebnadzor said.

The buyer immediately wrote to the man, he admitted the problem and promised to replace the product with another, but then stopped communicating. The specialists helped the victim competently draw up a statement of claim. Having studied all the circumstances, the court decided to recover T.R. from Aliyev. in favor of the consumer, the cost of low-quality goods is 70,000 rubles, a penalty is 70,000 rubles, a fine is 75,000 rubles, moral damages are 10,000 rubles, as well as legal and postal expenses are 8,220 rubles. The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
