Two transfers missed by Dinamo! Nicolescu compared Kopic and Campos: “He sees things differently”

Dinamo missed two of the targets in this transfer window. The announcement was made by the president Andrei Nicolescu, who revealed that Dinamo submitted an offer for Tom Ducrocq (26 years old), Bastia's midfielder (17th place in Ligue 2), but also for a central defender from the French Ligue 3, who has meanwhile arrived at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, the vice-champion of Belgium.
The Dynamo official explained that the negotiations for Bastia's footballer are at a standstill, after the French club did not provide an answer within the deadline set by Bucharest.
In the case of the second player, Dinamo had been monitoring him for a longer time and held direct talks with him, but was unable to offer him a sufficiently attractive contract to convince him to sign.
Andrei Nicolescu: “We have some ongoing negotiations”
In the same intervention, Dinamo's president also spoke about the differences in vision between the former coach Zeljko Kopic and the new technician, Nuno Campos.
Nicolescu explained that the Portuguese is looking for different profiles of players compared to those preferred by Kopic and gave the example of the position of defensive midfielder, where the requirements of the two coaches do not completely coincide.
“Nuno Campos sees things a bit differently and the characteristics he looks for in players are a bit different. We had a fluency in that as well, on the characteristics of the players. We found out very quickly what he wants from the quality of a number 6, for example, and they are different.
A player who may look strong or a good player in Kopic's No. 6 system may look different there on Nuno's dynamic.
We will definitely be making transfers. We have some negotiations. One was the public information, he is a player from Bastia (no – Tom Ducrocq)but we have not received a response to the offer and so we are in a zone… The response deadline has passed. We have no communication.
And the second player is one that we were targeting and that we had on our radar for a very long time, after which we went and talked to him, but we couldn't make him an offer that would make him sign with Dinamo.
I was at the point where I didn't know if Mister would agree with him or not. He was focused on the championship final. He signed with Union Saint-Gilloise. He was a player in the third division in France, a central defender.
In March we may have had it, but that's it, there are other targets. He became a free agent on June 30. This confirms that we have good eyes. We have set two targets with Nuno and we are moving forward. Nuno Campos is below Kopic in salary level”, Andrei Nicolescu said on the “Footbal Show” show from Prima Sport.
