Trained by Red Star Belgrade, the most successful team in Serbia, Burmaz also played for Graficar and Radnički Kragujevac before his transfer to Romania.
So far, the striker has collected 59 matches in the shirt of Rapid, during which he scored 11 goals and provided two decisive assists. According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, it is valued at 450,000 euros.
At this moment, Daniel Pancu has only one other option available for the position of central attacker, the Brazilian Talisson, whose future in Giulesti remains uncertain. Elvir Koljic and Daniel Paraschiv will not continue at Rapid next season.
