The Forum of the World Youth Festival will be held in Krasnoyarsk in 2026. This was told in the regional agency of youth policy and the implementation of public development programs.
The forum is the continuation of the World Youth Festival, which took place in the federal territory of Sirius from March 1 to March 7, 2024. After a meeting with the participants of the WFM-2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to hold a large festival for 20 thousand participants once every six years and once every three years-for 10 thousand.
Krasnoyarsk Territory has a rich experience in international events for youth. Last year, the regional program of the World Youth Festival, in which guests from 20 countries, members of the Territory of the region at VFM and young activists of the region took part in Krasnoyarsk.
“The Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the support of the President and Rosmolodezh, will become a platform for strengthening international cooperation in the field of youth policy. This is a unique opportunity for our guys to exchange ideas, experience and create joint projects, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov, governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Recall that this year the World Youth Festival united young leaders in the fields of science, education, politics, international relations, volunteering, sports, entrepreneurship and culture. The festival in Sochi was visited by a delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
