The fashion giant is betting on Poland. New shops and jobs will be created

The Irish clothing chain Primark does not intend to slow down the pace of development on the Polish market. The company announced the launch of four new stores, bringing the number of its branches in the country to 12. Poland remains one of the key markets for brand development in Central and Eastern Europe. As Maciej Podwojski, Head of CEE at Primark, pointed out in an interview with dlahandlu.pl, the stores are to be opened by the end of 2027.
According to the information provided in the interview with Podwojski, new Primark stores are to appear in shopping centers in Szczecin, Koszalin, Białystok and Warsaw.
The expansion map includes:
- Kaskada Shopping Center in Szczecin,
- Koszalin Forum,
- Atrium Biała in Białystok,
- Promenade in Warsaw.
Thanks to these openings, the brand will significantly increase its presence outside the largest agglomerations.
Poland is an increasingly important market
Primark entered Poland in 2020, opening its first store in Warsaw's Galeria Młociny. Since then, the network has been systematically developing its activities, including: in Poznań, Kraków, Katowice, Wrocław, Łódź, Bydgoszcz and Lublin.
A particularly important step was the opening of the first store in eastern Poland – in the Felicity shopping center in Lublin. The investment exceeded EUR 9 million and created approximately 80 jobs.

Over 460 stores worldwide
Today, Primark is one of the largest fashion chains in Europe. The company operates in 17 countries and has over 460 stores, employing over 80,000. employees. In Central and Eastern Europe alone, the brand already operates 18 branches in six countries in the region.
The company's strategy shows that Poland remains one of the most promising markets for international clothing chains, even despite growing competition from brands such as Sinsay, HalfPrice and Reserved.

Not just Primark
The Polish fashion market continues to attract new players. At the same time, a Canadian sports brand announced its entry into Poland Lululemonwhich plans to launch both online sales and stationary stores.
