Pashinyan’s party is leading at the start of vote counting in Armenia. What's the gap?

The Central Election Commission of Armenia has published preliminary voting results for the parliamentary elections in 131 polling stations. This was reported by the Armenian service of Radio Liberty.

56.04% of voters (14,161 out of 25,633) voted for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party. This provides her with a confident first position.

Second place went to “Strong Armenia” by Armenian-Russian billionaire Samvel Karapetyan with 21.87%.

This is followed by “Armenia” (8.69%) and “Prosperous Armenia” (5.09%).

Other political forces, according to the country's Central Election Commission, do not overcome the entry barrier.

The doors of the polling stations closed at 19.00 Kyiv time. The turnout was 58.97%. A total of 1 million 476 thousand 597 voters took part in the voting.
