A project has been launched in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to increase the availability of medical care for residents of remote areas. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Multidisciplinary teams of doctors from regional clinics began to travel to regional hospitals. This will allow patients to receive specialist consultations faster and travel to Krasnoyarsk less often. Among the first to introduce this practice were specialists from Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Clinical Hospital No. 4. A team consisting of surgeon Ivan Krasuli, urologist Kamran Kyarimov and obstetrician-gynecologist Nikita Belonogov visited the Uyarsk regional hospital.
Doctors examined patients, determined indications for operations and created lists for hospitalization. The Ministry of Health noted that such visits help improve the routing of patients and more efficiently use the resources of the healthcare system.
“Visiting teams are a systematic effort to improve the accessibility and quality of medical care. We see this as a key tool for achieving the goals of the national project “Long and Active Life,” said Minister of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexey Konovalenko.
In the coming months, specialists from the Regional Clinical Hospital and Emergency Hospital will conduct similar visits, including for operations.
