Former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vsevolod Sevastyanov has died

Former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vsevolod Sevastyanov has died. He was 88 years old.
Vsevolod Sevastyanov – scientist, economist, long-term deputy of the regional parliamentwho headed the economic development committee and served as deputy chairman of the Legislature. Under his leadership, in the 1970–1980s, it was saved from closure and transformed into a leading university in the space industry – the current Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after Academician Reshetnev.
Governor Mikhail Kotyukov announced his death in his telegram channel:
“Vsevolod Nikolaevich Sevastyanov has passed away… Honorary citizen of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. One of the founders of the regional parliament and the modern system of regional governance. Scientist and economist. A true patriot of the region and country. A strong and wise man. He was never afraid to take responsibility for his decisions. I have never been indifferent. I always knew what needed to be done for the Krasnoyarsk region to develop. He proposed clear, economically sound mechanisms for this, and was the author of many legislative initiatives. I worked until the last day.
My sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Vsevolod Nikolaevich. We will all miss him very much…
