FCSB continues to look for solutions to strengthen the squad this summer, but one of the club's important targets is already out of the calculations. Mihai Stoica, the president of the Red-Blues Board of Directors, announced that the negotiations for Anderson Ceara (27 years old) from Csikszereda did not materialize.
Instead, the red-blue official confirmed the interest in the midfielder Stefan Pirgic (23 years old), a footballer under contract with the Serbian team Zeleznicar Pancevo.
MM Stoica: “We did not agree with Csikszereda for Anderson Ceara”
The leader of FCSB explained why the transfer of Brazilian Anderson Ceara failed. Gigi Becali had submitted an offer of 350,000 euros for the 27-year-old winger, but the two clubs did not reach an agreement.
“Yes, we did not agree with Csikszereda for Ceara. The demands were too high”, a declared Stoica during the show “Footbal Show”, from Prima Sport.
Thus, one of the players noted in the recently ended season will no longer reach, at least for the moment, the formation prepared by Marius Baciu. Instead, FCSB still has Stefan Pirgic, the 23-year-old midfielder from Pancevo, on the list.

FCSB continues discussions for Ștefan Pirgic
Unlike Ceara's case, the transfer would involve the payment of an amount, the footballer being under contract with the group from Serbia. MM Stoica stated that the negotiations could take time, but the player is an interesting one and is on the club's priority list.
“There it will last, if a common denominator is reached, it will last. Yes, he is a very interesting player. Depending on what we bring, maybe they will leave, at the moment no one is leaving. Now we don't know what his value is, we liked him and put him at the top of the list of central midfielders.”
