Aleksandar Stankovic, the son of the legendary Dejan Stankovic of Red Star Belgrade, Lazio and Inter, was brought in by the Italian champions in 2022, with successive loan spells at Luzern and Club Brugge.

The midfielder has been a key part of the Belgian club's side, with 9 goals and 5 assists in 55 appearances. Club Brugge became Belgian champions for the 20th time in the recently concluded season, and the Serbian was named the best young player in the championship.

• The buyout clause would have risen to €25m if Inter had waited until the summer of 2027, while Club Brugge will receive a percentage of any future sales fee as part of the deal.
