Popescu did business with energy, together with Silviu-Bogdan Nicolae, SIE reserve major general, Dan-Cătălin Stancu – former general manager of Electrica SA and Fratelli shareholder Nicolae Mergeani, according to the economic site Profit. They established the supply company Swift Spot SRL.
Swift Spot SRL is fully owned by Swift Energy SRL, a consulting firm. According to data from Termene.ro, in 2025, Corina Popescu left the shareholding.
