Ciprian Marica (40 years old), the minority shareholder from lighthousepaid another policy to Gică Popescu (58), the majority shareholder and president of the team, shortly after the departure of Flavius Stoican from the Dobrogeni helm.
When Stoican was appointed in mid-April, Marica had a harsh reaction, displeased by the fact that no one consulted him either, although he is part of the management.
With Stoican at the helm, the sailors were one step away from disaster, without victory and with emotions until the last moment. A tie was needed, where Farul finally saved itself, dramatically, after penalty kicks, with Chindia. After staying in the first league, Stoican left the team.
Now, Marica came with a new message, to reinforce the idea that Gică Popescu's decision to appoint the former A1 from Reșita as a coach was a wrong one.
Ciprian Marica, a new counter for Gică Popescu: “I was disturbed by the decision to appoint Flavius Stoican”
“I was really bothered by the decision to appoint Flavius Stoican which turned out to be the wrong one. Stoican didn't win a game at Farul, we didn't manage to beat a 6th place team in the 2nd League in a double leg. Yes, I was unhappy that we didn't discuss it.
I repeat, I know my position, I could not have influenced the decision of the majority shareholders, but I think it would be nice and fair play to discuss with your partners, small and large, how they are in the respective business”, said Marica, quoted by fanatik.ro.
0.86 points / matchis the score with which Flavius Stoican left the Lighthouse, after 7 games. He collected three failures and two draws in the play-out, before the tie with Chindia (3-3 and 5-3 after penalty kicks)
Marica: “I don't like being a nurse”
Next, Marica insisted on the idea that the decision to appoint Flavius Stoican belonged exclusively to Gică Popescuwithout consulting anyone else within the club.

“I repeat, it was his decision. It happened once, it can happen. The problem is that it should not be perpetuated and not be a matter of mistrust, because then I would feel really offended. That is, if Gică Popescu does not trust me and hides things or there are things that I, as a shareholder, am deprived of, then clearly we have a problem.
I don't like being a sucker. I think that anyone, now it's about Gică Popescu, but I think that anyone who was a manager, majority shareholder, fair play should proceed as I think. If you think I'm exaggerating. I still hope that from now on things will go better, that at least we will know together.
It's unpleasant, honestly, to call me, to ask me, you're a shareholder in Farul, what's going on, put Sabau on, I understand that the decision was made and not know anything. I don't like being a sucker. I still play the sucker but it doesn't always work out and then I don't like being put in situations like that and I don't think you would either. And then it would be best to clarify these things and I hope that in the coming days we will clarify the situation”, continued Marica.
I didn't talk to Gică Popescu. I've been waiting for this bad dream I've been in to pass and we'll probably have a talk. To be clear, there is no scandal at Farul, I did not argue with Gică Popescu. I was only asked if I knew anything about the arrival of the new coach.
And I said that, and I want to repeat myself, that only if Gică Popescu, the majority shareholder, would make a decision without talking to the minority shareholders, then I would feel excluded. I would not see why I would continue if you are not wanted in a project. But it's a long way from here to resigning or exiting the shareholding
