The Max messenger has disappeared from the App Store. Notifications and calls to iPhones no longer arrive

Messenger “Max” has been removed from the App catalog Store.
Please note that when you go to the App Store using a link from the official website, an error appears: turned separate Telegram channels. The Newslab editor also couldn’t find the messenger in the app store search.
VK confirmed that “Max” is not available in the App Store:
“MAX confirms that the messenger application is currently not available in the AppStore. The application previously installed on users' smartphones will continue to work as usual. The MAX team has sent a request for clarification to Apple and is working to quickly resolve the issue.”
The messenger's press service also reported that notifications about new messages and calls stopped coming to the iPhone after the application was removed from the App Store. However, the messages themselves will be delivered and all functions will remain available.
“We recommend that you open the application yourself from time to time so as not to miss important messages. “The Max team is in touch with Apple, we are doing everything possible to ensure that all services work as before again,” the company said.
The press service recalled that “Max” can be downloaded from RuStorе, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, Samsung Store, Xiaomi Store, Vivo Store and on the official website.
Max is the national messenger chosen by the Russian government. It is developed by Communication Platform, a subsidiary of VK. According to the company, since its launch, 120 million users have registered with the service and created more than 7 million private and public channels. The daily audience is 85 million.
