A Minusinsk resident grew more than 150 hemp bushes on his plot (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police stopped the illegal activities of a 47-year-old resident of Minusinsk, who made his living by growing drug-containing plants.

In the annex to his country house they discovered an equipped underground greenhouse in which 156 cannabis bushes grew. Dried plant parts were also stored there.

As a result of the searches, investigators seized 3.6 kilograms of datura grass and specialized equipment: grow boxes, fans, special duct ventilation and a lighting system.

Criminal cases were opened against the previously convicted man under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, production, processing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues” and Part 1 of Art. 231 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors.” During the investigation, a preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of detention.
