When exactly was the work planned?
PKO BP announced on its website that “on Wednesday, June 3, from 00:30 to 04:00, it will carry out planned technical works. During this time, customers may encounter difficulties related to card transactions”. Although the service window will last only three and a half hours, the list of temporarily unavailable services is long.
It is worth emphasizing that the works will be carried out in the middle of the night, which is intended to minimize discomfort for most users. However, people working night shifts or traveling during these hours should have traditional cash.
What will stop working? List of difficulties
According to the institution's official statement, while technical work is in progress, customers will not be able to use basic functions related to payment card processing. Difficulties will include:
- card payments,
- cash withdrawal from ATMs other than PKO Bank Polski,
- deposits and withdrawals by card and BLIK in ATMs and cash deposit machines of PKO Bank Polski,
- assigning a PIN and activating the card on the website and mobile application,
- card PIN authorization under 3D-Secure for card payments online,
- adding cards in Apple Pay, Google Pay, Garmin Pay, SwatchPAY, Xiaomi Pay, Samsung Pay.

This means that during the given time period we will not pay by card at a gas station, we will not make online purchases that require confirmation with a PIN code, and we will not connect a new card to a digital wallet on a phone or watch.
