While the band from Ilfov celebrated the promotion directly on the lawn, hell broke loose in the Sibiu camp: the team was shamefully relegated to the second tier after four years spent in the Superliga elite, and the fans completely lost their temper at the end.

The game was controlled by Ilfoveni, but the decisive moments were closely related to the decisions of the center Szabolcs Kovacs.
He relatively easily dictated two shots from eleven meters in favor of the hosts, both of which were cold-bloodedly converted by Matko Babic. Athe Voluntari player signed a golden “doppietta” from the penalty spot, signaling the party at the Voluntari stadium.

The Sibiu players tried to go towards their own supporters from Transylvania, but they were met with rare hostility: “Don't come to the fence, don't come!”, shouted from the lawn.
The only one who had the courage to go in front of the ultras was Dragoș Albu. The midfielder was instantly assailed by harsh criticism: “Haven't you shame?! You mocked us! Shame, shame on you! Not have a shot on goal?! You put us in the B mercenaries! Undressing! Let's give you money!” thundered the angry fans.
Afterwards, the spirits partially calmed down, and the footballers were called back to the fence for a tense explanation session that lasted for several minutes.
Then, Dorinel Munteanu returned from the locker room and went straight to the Sibiu supporters: “Hundreds of people came to support you, you didn't shoot at the goal!” Goalkeeper David Lazar was the only one greeted by the supporters.
“You fooled us, idiots. Albule, come on, take the shirt, you bastard! A shot on goal, huh?! Bastards, don't set foot in Sibiu again!” Some of the Sibiu players complied and took off their shirts, giving them to the supporters.
