Jose Roberto da Silva Junior, also known as Ze Roberto, keeps his enviable shape, even at 51 years old. The former midfielder now weighs around 90 kilos and is in sensational shape, which can be seen on his Instagram profile with 3 million followers.
The Brazilian from Sao Paulo did not want to be like his other colleagues, to spend money on things that would have affected his health, but dedicated his life to body care and nutrition.
“I always trained as if I was fighting for a place in a team, even at 51 years old. That keeps you young. People have asked me why I can play at a high level. The answer is simple: discipline every day. Your body is your greatest asset. If you respect him, he will give you everything back”, said Ze Roberto, according to sportal.blic.rs.
“I have no vices. I don't drink alcoholic beverages, I don't smoke, I eat very well, I sleep well. I have my family, which gives me stability. I think these are important factors for maintaining a healthy body,” added the Brazilian.

Ze Roberto's physical form helped him have a long career. He retired in 2017, at the age of 43, after spending time at teams such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Hamburg, Flamengo, Santos, Gremio or Palmeiras, the last being the club he retired from.
