Two migrants branded children with a hot iron in an illegal madrasah (educational institution) in Ufa
Law enforcement officers freed 16 children from 4 to 16 years old, who were held and beaten in a rented apartment by two citizens of Tajikistan.
Migrants created an illegal religious school for boys. Mahmadamin and Shahmod lived on the money paid by the mothers and fathers of the students. To prevent neighbors from complaining about the screams, they constantly moved from one apartment to another.
The men beat the children with sticks, broke their fingers and, under threat of reprisal, forbade them to complain to their parents. It was possible to find out about what was happening thanks to the fact that one teenager ran away and turned to the police for help.
Citizens of Tajikistan were detained. A case was opened under articles of torture and unlawful deprivation of liberty. As it became known, the parents of 16 children released from captivity in Ufa are staying on the territory of the Russian Federation in violation of migration legislation.
