Further funds from the KPO may go to Poland. The deputy minister indicated the date

This concerns the payment of the fourth tranche from the KPO (approx. PLN 30 billion), i.e. money from the 6th and 7th payment applications. — Systematically, thanks to the work of many ministries – because it is the work of the entire government, voivodeship marshals, but above all the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy – this money successively reaches Poland – Jacek Karnowski announced on Monday at the European Financial Congress in Sopot.
– I think that we are a good example of the use of KPO and there is hope that, despite the fact that we were two years late, these funds will actually reach Poland faster and in larger quantities – noted the Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.

Jacek Karnowski emphasized that funds from the KPO go, among others, to: for investments in energy, renovation or construction of new energy networks. In his opinion, the construction of an offshore power plant without the loan part of the National Reconstruction Plan would be impossible.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Funds Jan Szyszko described that the next payment from the KPO in the amount of approximately PLN 30 billion is to reach Poland at the turn of May and June.
The condition for the payment of this tranche from KPO was, among others, reform of the National Labor Inspectorate, extending its powers. On April 2, President Karol Nawrocki signed an act on this matter. In April, the EC positively assessed Poland's application for payment.

Further applications for payments from KPO
The Ministry of Funds announced at the end of May that the eighth application for payment from the KPO for approximately EUR 8 billion was planned to be sent in the second half of June. The ministry expects money from this application in September.
The aim of the KPO is to strengthen the Polish economy. Poland is to receive approximately PLN 233 billion (EUR 54.71 billion) from the KPO, including approximately PLN 107 billion (EUR 25.27 billion) in the form of subsidies and approximately PLN 126 billion (EUR 29.44 billion) in the form of preferential loans.
