Tony Appiah, the manager of Kennedy Boateng (29), has said he is ready to negotiate a move to FCSB for the centre-back he represents.

Kennedy Boateng has parted ways with Dinamo, after two seasons in which he was among the most important men in Zeljko Kopic's team. Free immediately after the failure with FCSB (1-2), Boateng has not yet signed with any club, but negotiations are advanced with a team from Saudi Arabia.

Gigi Becali learned from Adrian Ilie that Boateng has yet to sign with another club and said that the stopper looks like an interesting player. The impresario Appiah said that he has nothing against negotiating with Dinamo's great rival.

“No one from Steaua Bucharest called me again the player has not signed any contract with any club in Saudi Arabia. There are offers from Saudi Arabia, but he hasn't signed yet.

If an offer comes from Steaua Bucharest, we will think about this aspect. I think the negotiations in Saudi Arabia are very close to completion.

If I am called by the people from Steaua, of course I am open to negotiate with them. It is certain that Boateng will not stay at Dinamo in the next season,” said Tony Appiah, according to prosport.ro.

Kennedy Boateng was a key player at Dinamo

Arriving at Dinamo free of contract in July 2024, Boateng quickly became a starter in Kopic's team. In those two years, he scored 75 matches, 8 goals and two decisive assists in the shirt of the “dogs”.

In the first season at Dinamo, he formed a solid couple with Josue Homawoo, and in the last season he shared his defensive duties with the young Nikita Stoinov.

He is quoted at 1.2 million euros, according to transfermarkt.com. He has 14 matches in the Togo national team shirt.

Considering that my contract ends today, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to wear the Dinamo shirt.

Being a part of this historic club has been one of the greatest blessings of my career.
