Rezaei, who advises Mojtab Khamenei, posted his comment on Saturday on the X platform. He referred to the ongoing negotiations and the naval blockade of Iranian ports maintained by American forces.
“The President of the United States is betraying diplomacy for the third time. By continuing the naval blockade and making excessive demands in negotiations, he has further proven that he is not interested in talks and pursues other goals,” wrote the Iranian politician.

US-Iran talks are ongoing
American media reported on the progress in the talks on Thursday. Negotiators of both countries were to agree on the outline of an agreement to end the war, providing for the extension of the ceasefire by 60 days and the launch of talks regarding the Iranian nuclear program. These reports were confirmed by sources close to the US administration, although the document is still waiting for Trump's final consent.
Preliminary arrangements assume that ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz will remain unrestricted, and the authorities in Tehran will remove all mines there within 30 days. At the same time, the American naval blockade targeting Iranian ports is to be lifted.

This is what the US expects from Iran
According to information from Washington, Iran will commit to giving up attempts to acquire nuclear weapons in the agreement. During the 60-day negotiations, the priority will be to determine how to dispose of the highly enriched uranium accumulated in this country, as well as to resolve the issue of further enrichment of this element.
The American side will declare its readiness to discuss loosening sanctions and unblocking frozen Iranian financial assets.
