They want to ban tattoo artists without medical education from working in Russia. The initiative is already in the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. Reason: death of a model in St. Petersburg – the girl died after a dose of lidocaine during a tattoo session at home.
Now, in order to fill someone with domes or butterflies on the tailbone, the master, according to experts, only needs a sanitation book. Social activists believe that only those who have at least a secondary medical education can be allowed near the body. To prevent the St. Petersburg case from repeating itself, the founder of the tattoo removal clinic, Viktor Galushin, and the chairman of the Veterans of Russia movement, Ildar Rezyapov, have already sent an appeal to the relevant ministry.
As several tattoo artists told Mash, now only a salon needs a license for medical services. Craftsmen work without special permits and most often simply rent space.
Previously, Mash on the Moika wrote about the death of a 24-year-old model after a tattoo session. Previously, she died of anaphylactic shock due to the administered lidocaine.
