A Krasnoyarsk resident tried to make money on the services of an intermediary and was deceived by a fraudster.
The police said that in July last year, a resident of the regional capital, on the recommendation of a friend, turned to a previously unknown man, who promised to help him earn money. A Krasnoyarsk resident needed to apply for microloans and transfer the money to someone else’s card. The attacker assured that he would pay off the debt himself, and the victim would receive 30% of the loan amount.

The Krasnoyarsk resident agreed to the proposed conditions, took out a microloan for himself in the amount of 8 thousand and 5 thousand rubles, and also borrowed 9 thousand rubles from a friend. Then he transferred 22 thousand rubles to the attacker. and began to wait for the promised money. When the victim inquired about the deadline for closing the loans, the man blocked him and stopped contacting him.
The police established the identity and location of the accused. He turned out to be a previously unconvicted 23-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident. He explained that initially he did not intend to pay anything to the intermediary. During the investigation, he fully compensated the victim for the damage.
A criminal case was opened into the fraud, the investigation of which has already been completed. The accused was given a written undertaking not to leave the place and to behave properly. The materials were transferred to the court for further consideration on the merits.
