▪️In the world 1.2 billion people with mental illnesses – almost twice as many as 30 years ago.
▪️Mental illness has overtaken cardiovascular disease and cancer, becoming the most common cause of health problems.
▪️Most often they are exposed to mental problems women and youth aged 15 to 19.
▪️The most common diagnoses were anxiety disorders and severe depression – everything picked up after COVID-19.
▪️Only about 9% of people with severe depression receive minimally adequate treatment.
