After losing the Conference League play-off semi-final to FCSB, 3-4 in extra time after 3-3 in regulation time, FC Botoșani is preparing to part ways with several players.
Friday Adams (23 years old), the Nigerian midfielder who just finished his third season at FC Botoșani, reached an agreement with U Cluj since January. In addition to him, the team prepared by Marius Croitoru (45 years old) will part with several players.

FC Botoșani will meet on June 11, and between June 22 and July 5, they will hold a training camp in Bulgaria, in Bansko. Marius Croitoru's team will play 4 friendly matches there, including one against Ludogoreț Razgrad, according to btonline.ro.
In addition to Friday Adams, Enzo Lopez, Michael Pavlovic and Antonio Dumitru, who are at the end of their contracts, will also leave FC Botoșani.
Congolese midfielder Aldair has received an offer to extend his contract with FC Botoșani, but has not yet given an answer. Rijad Sadiku's situation is also uncertain, given that he missed several games in the just-ended season due to injuries.
Luka Kukic, the backup to goalkeeper Giannis Anestis, wants to go to a team where he can be a starter, and forward Mykola Kovtalyuk has an offer from Thailand.
FC Botoșani also expect to receive offers this summer for Sebastian Mailat and Zoran Mitrov.
Valeriu Iftime is preparing the restructuring of the budget at FC Botoșani: “I don't want to give 5 million anymore”
Valeriu Iftime, the patron of FC Botoșani, was present at the beginning of this week on the GSP Live show, where he announced that he intends to restructure the budget for the next season.
“With how much money we gave this year, the budget for next season must decrease. It doesn't decrease much in the sense of the total value, but there will be other incomes. I don't want to give 5 million (euro number), but two, two and a half, up to 3”, said FC Botoșani's boss, on GSP Live.
For now I only have Mailat and Zoran Mitrov, but Zoran seems like I wouldn't let him go, because he needs more endurance to last somewhere.
There are offers for Mailat. After, I have some children that I bring now. I hope I can, because it's not easy, but it's about 2-3 formidably good kids that I can go on with next year, to think that I can easily make money on them.
