The strongest army in the world. There is a Global Firepower 2026 ranking

Ranking Global Firepower 2026 the world's strongest armies is based on each country's potential ability to wage war on land, at sea and in the air using conventional means. Poland took 21st place in the ranking, just behind Ukraine, which is fighting against Russian aggression.
The United States is in first place, Russia is in second place, and China is in third place. This is followed by India and South Korea.
When calculating the position of individual countries, over 60 different indicators were taken into account, from the amount of armament to the financing of the armed forces, logistics capabilities and geographical conditions. The result of this analysis is the PowerIndex (PwrIndx). The closer to zero, the theoretically stronger the army.
The ranking is based on publicly available data and applies only to conventional forces, excluding nuclear weapons.

In the Global Firepower 2026 ranking, Poland took 21st place. Thus, our country maintained its position in the two previous editions of the ranking. Ukraine, fighting against Russian aggression, was in 20th place.

The top five remains unchanged. Four of the countries in the top twenty rankings advanced this year: France, Japan, Germany, Australia. They dropped two places compared to last year: Great Britain and Pakistan.
