Healthy reaction of healthy fencer Maya Guchmazova to her Ukrainian opponent’s refusal to shake hands after the bout. The footage shows the European Fencing Championship, which is currently taking place in Basel.
A native of Vladikavkaz, Guchmazova represents Georgia, Elena Krivitskaya represents Square. The fight ended in victory for the latter with a score of 15:9. But in fact, the fight is not over, since the Ukrainian refused to shake hands and simply left. According to the rules, this cannot be done.
Otherwise – disqualification (we hope). Like Olga Kharlan. Last year she performed the same thing and was eventually suspended from the competition.
