A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory sued for compensation for a monument of the wrong color and in the wrong place

In Nazarovo, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court ordered the businesswoman to pay 22,350 rubles for negligence in manufacturing and installation tombstone.

As Rospotrebnadzor said, last year a local resident entered into an agreement with an individual entrepreneur for the provision of relevant work with a total cost of 22,500 rubles and made an advance payment in the amount of 10,000 rubles. Later, the contractor reported that it was ready, but when the customer arrived at the cemetery, she saw that the color of the monument was wrong. In addition, the structure was not mounted on a hill, as discussed, but in the corner of the fence.

The entrepreneur ignored the claim. The victim did not terminate the contract – it was important for her that the work was simply completed in good faith. For clarification and help, the woman turned to Rospotrebnadzor, whose specialists helped draw up a statement of claim.

As a result, the court ordered individual entrepreneur T.S. Yanova. eliminate the shortcomings, and the customer must pay the remaining 12,500 rubles under the contract. Also, a penalty of 9,900 rubles, moral damages of 5,000 rubles and a fine of 7,450 rubles were recovered from the entrepreneur in favor of the consumer.
