US President Donald Trump said on Sunday on his Truth Social network that the blockade imposed on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz will remain “in full force” until an agreement is signed with Tehran to end the war.

“The blockade will remain in full force until an agreement is concluded, certified and signed”the US president wrote, adding that “both parties must take the necessary time to make things right. There can be no mistakes.”
In a phone call Saturday night with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump assured the Israeli chief executive that any final deal with Tehran would include dismantling Iran's nuclear program and transferring its stockpile of highly enriched uranium out of the country, an Israeli official said on Sunday on condition of anonymity.
The president of the USA “has made it clear that he will remain firm in negotiations on his demand to dismantle Iran's nuclear program and withdraw all enriched uranium from Iranian soil, and that he will not sign any final agreement without these conditions”the source said in a statement.
During the conversation, Netanyahu declared in turn that his country will maintain its “freedom of action in the face of threats on all fronts, including from Lebanon, and President Trump reaffirmed his support for this principle”according to the source.
The United States and Iran are trying to finalize a deal to end the Middle East war once and for all, but Iranian and American media have previously indicated that the nuclear deal will be delayed.
In recent days, the American press has reported on divergent strategies between Donald Trump and his Israeli ally, the former insisting on a diplomatic solution, while the latter would prefer the resumption of hostilities.
