This is how much PZU management board members earn. The record holder wins over PLN 2.5 million

The document published on Friday shows that Bogdan Benczak – who has been acting president since September last year and currently holds this position – received almost PLN 449,000 for this period. zloty. He joined the management board of the largest Polish insurer on September 25, 2025, and was formally appointed as the head of the company in mid-April 2026. By the end of last year, his remuneration was exactly PLN 448,000. PLN 630.
Artur Olech, who had managed the company since 2024, lost his position on January 27, 2025. On the same day, the supervisory board entrusted the duties of president to Andrzej Klesyk, and on February 27, 2025, formally appointed him as the head of the company with effect from March 3, 2025. The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) accepted this nomination on July 2.

At the beginning of August, the council dismissed Klesyk, and Tarkowski took over the duties of president. In September, the supervisory board entrusted Benczak with managing the company. Within a dozen or so months, the company was headed by four different people.
Tomasz Kulik is the earnings leader at PZU
Among all members of the management board, Tomasz Kulik earned the highest amount for last year – PLN 2,509,000. zloty. Right behind him in the ranking was Elżbieta Hauser-Schoneich with the amount of approximately PLN 2,434,000. The supervisory board consists of nine people – Marcin Kubicza is the chairman, Małgorzata Kurzynoga is the vice-chairman, and Anna Machnikowska is the secretary. The council also includes Jarosław Antonik, Anita Elżanowska, Michał Jonczynski, Andrzej Kaleta, Beata Stelmach and Maciej Szwarc.
PZU dominates the region
PZU remains the largest insurer in Poland, controlling over one third of the domestic market. The Capital Group of Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń is also the largest financial institution not only in the country, but also in the entire Central and Eastern Europe.
