Vasile Mogoș (33 years old), the player from University of Craiovaannounced his departure from Bănie after winning the event with the Oltenians. The footballer's plan is to return to Italy, where his wife Francica and little girl Amira are settled.
Vasile Mogoș wrote a short message on social networks to thank the Olten fans. The team that insists on him is FC Sudtirol, but they have several options. He will leave Banie free of contract.

Mogoș started football in Italy, played for Asti, Real Vicenza, Delta PT, Lumezzane, Teramo, Reggiana, Ascoli, Cremonese, Chievo Verona and Crotone. He arrived in Romania only in 2023, at CFR Cluj, and from the summer of 2025 he moved to Craiova University.

This season he ticked off 1421 minutes in 21 games for the University of Craiova and had no offensive contribution. It is quoted by specialized websites at 450,000 euros.
Apart from the event won with Craiova University, Vasile Mogoș also won a Romanian Cup with CFR Cluj in the 2024-2025 season.
Vasile Mogoș is also a Romanian international. The defender has 8 appearances under the “tricolor” and was in the squad in the very good campaign from Euro 2024.
