Priest Florin Danu was the one who published more details and images from the memorial that took place on Friday, May 22, at the social canteen of the “Saint Hierarch Nectarie” Center in the village of Lada, Teleorman county.

Răzvan Lucescu and his family prepared 100 menus for the needy people from that center and personally came to serve the children and more.

Mircea Lucescu was mentioned for 40 days

“Today, at the social canteen of the Saint Hierarch Nectarie Center, the Lucescu family made a memorial for Mr. Mircea Lucescu and offered over 100 portions of food to the children and the elderly in our community.

A gesture that deeply impressed us was the fact that Mr. Răzvan Lucescu was not only present, but personally served the children and beneficiaries of our center, staying close to people with great discretion and warmth.

In a world where many choose to help from a distance, there are also people who come, look a child in the eye, exchange a word with an old man and offer not only a warm meal, but also respect, attention and humanity.

We thank them for their love, for their humility and for the beautiful example they set for everyone today. May God receive the memorial and bless this family!”, wrote priest Florin Danu, on the Facebook page.
