40% growth: Akhmetov's Metinvest paid UAH 20 billion in taxes to the budget last year
Last year, the company increased the payment of taxes, and almost reached the level of 2022.
The largest amount of deductions is the subsoil use fee: it more than doubled to UAH 5 billion. In second place is the single social contribution (3.7 billion UAH). The third is UAH 3.4 billion in personal income tax, which is 11% higher than in 2023.
“War increases the level of responsibility of business – to the army, the economy and every Ukrainian. Metinvest remains one of the largest taxpayers and private donors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and we continue to support the country in these difficult times,” said Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest Group.
