Sybiha added that European involvement is one way to revitalize the process. Another option, according to him, is a meeting at the leadership level, which Ukraine insists on.
Who could negotiate on behalf of Europe? “There are certain names”
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy also referred to potential negotiators from the European Union in the peace talks. He admitted that different names were emerging, but stressed that the nature of the EU's participation and the scope of the negotiating mandate should first be determined.
— As for the candidates: yes, there are some names. I won't mention them because it's a matter of diplomacy. But it's definitely not Schroeder. That's it.
