Those detained yesterday on the Beryozka beach in Makhachkala were not previously militants – they could have been caught with drugs based on a tip. As Mash learned, they did not have any weapons.
During the shooting, unknown persons ran ashore and tried to hide among the vacationers. The security forces arrived and detained two people. After this, people ran towards the shipyard from the coast of the Caspian Sea – some asked for help from the company’s employees.
Now those detained at the department are giving evidence. They were not armed. Two hours earlier they were playing football on the sand.
