IT holding T1 and ICS Security entered into an agreement on technology partnership in the field of information security.
The companies will combine expertise to create reliable systems for protecting the IT infrastructure of large companies. The cooperation will begin with projects to ensure information security in the transport industry, then the interaction model will be scaled to other industries where the requirements for the sustainability of digital services and the protection of critical data are especially high.
In 2025, the number of information security incidents has grown by 42% – up to 22 thousand, while almost half of them were successful and led to disruption of business processes. Average damage per attack is assessed 5% of the company's annual revenue. Point-based security measures are being replaced by comprehensive architectural solutions that combine cloud technologies, infrastructure resilience and practical expertise in information security.
As part of the current partnership IT holding T1 and “ICS Security” are already working on significant infrastructuralm project transport industrywhich promises to become one of the largest in the country. During the work, formed ITarchitecturesA and mapsA covering information security requirements with an emphasis on the transport industry, analyzedus functional requirements, deployment model, and solution integration scenarios “ICS Security” into the overall project architecture.
The results of the analysis showed that up to 90% of information security tasks in such projects can be covered by the built-in mechanisms of the cloud infrastructure T1 Cloud (part of the T1 IT holding). At the same time, additional expertise is required for a number of specialized tasks related to protecting complex infrastructure circuits, responding to incidents and building a comprehensive cyber resilience model. That is why, as a working model, the parties present a combined approach in which the cloud infrastructure IT holding T1 acts as the base technological layer, and solutions and competencies “ICS Security” strengthen the architecture in those segments where specialized protection is required.
For IT holding T1 partnership with “ICS Security” becomes an important step in the development of our own information security direction. IT holding T1 has deep expertise in the field of building IT landscapes, digital transformation, cloud platforms and the implementation of large infrastructure projects. Integration of information security competencies into such projects allows IT holding T1 to form a comprehensive offer in which information security becomes not a separate module, but an integral part of the architecture of digital solutions.
“ICS Security”in turn, occupies a stable position in the Russian information security market and has significant expertise in implementation enterprise-projects for large customers and critical infrastructure. The company is involved in large-scale infrastructure initiatives in the transport and aviation sectors and has strong practical expertise in the design of security systems, security analysis, incident response and implementation of specialized solutions.
“Large infrastructure projects today require not just a set of security tools, but a holistic security architecture built into the IT circuit from the very beginning. Our interaction with ICS Security is built precisely around this task. We see high potential in combining the infrastructure expertise of the T1 IT holding and the applied competencies of a partner in the field of information security. This approach allows us to create more sustainable, economically verified and technologically balanced solutions for clients,” said Mikhail Knigin, Deputy General Director for Hardware and Software Systems, T1 IT Holding.
“It is important for us to participate in projects where information security is considered as part of the architectural logic of the entire digital environment. Partnership with IT holding T1 allows us to combine the technological expertise and practical experience of both teams to implement large-scale infrastructure projects with high requirements for reliability, sustainability and protection of critical data. Such interaction creates the basis for the development of comprehensive solutions that can effectively respond to the current challenges of large customers,” commented Alexander Kovalevsky, General Director of ICS Security.
