For the next season, Dinamo will no longer rely on two of the side defenders in the squad.
It is about Jordan Ikoko (32 years old) and Valentin Țicu (25 years old), both of whom will leave the red-and-white formation at the end of the current season.
Dinamo will let go of Jordan Ikoko and Valentin Țicu during the summer transfer window
In Ikoko's case, the contract expires this summerand the club management will not activate the extension clause for another season.
The French defender started the current championship as an important option for the right-back position, being a real competitor for Maxime Sivis. However, over the course of the season, his role in the team became less and less.
In the last three games played by Dinamo, Ikoko only played four minutesat the end of the confrontation with Craiova University, lost by “dogs” in Bănie, score 1-2. In total, the Frenchman has made 23 appearances in all competitions and managed two assists.

Even Valentin Țicu will not continue for the formation from Ștefan cel Mare. The former player of Petrolul Ploiești signed a contract valid for six months at the beginning of 2026, with the option of extending it for another three years, as a possible alternative to Raul Opruț. However, this will not be activated either.
Medical problems weighed decisively in Țicu's situation. In recent years, the left-back has gone through serious injuries and long recovery periodsand at Dinamo he failed to really enter the team's circuit.
In the red-white shirt, Țicu collected only 80 minutes, with the exception of the duel with the “Juvets” in the Cup: his most consistent appearance came in the semi-final of the Romanian Cup with Craiova University, when he was introduced in the 32nd minute, after the injury suffered by Raul Opruț in the first half.
