Chindia Târgoviște is going to meet Farul Constanța in the Superliga retention/promotion bracket, and the interest of the fans for the duel in Târgoviște is huge.

According to DB Sport, Chindia sold over 1,500 tickets online in just three hours for the first leg of the tie with Farul.
The interest of the supporters for the game in Târgoviște is very high, especially in the context where Chindia can get promotion to the Super League after a play-off in which it recorded 8 defeats in 10 matches.
Chindia finished in 6th place in the play-off in League 2, but took advantage of the fact that CSA Steaua and FC Bihor do not have the right to promotion, thus entering the play-off from the position of occupying an eligible place.
On the other hand, Farul needed only one point in the last stage, at home, against those from Metaloglobus, to avoid the tie. However, the Bucharesters prevailed 1-0, and Flavius Stoican's team reached the play-off spot.

The Super League retention/promotion tie between Chindia Târgoviște and Farul Constanța will be contested in a double leg, on May 23 and 31, 2026, according to the schedule established by the Romanian Football Federation.
The first match will take place on Saturday, May 23, from 17:30, in Târgoviște, while the decisive return is scheduled for May 31, in Constanța. Farul is fighting to stay in the Super League, while Chindia is trying to return to the first league after two years.
In the other bracket of this phase, Hermannstadt and FC Voluntari will meet.
