The Federation Council wants to ban the sale of notebooks with covers that “violate moral standards”
Senators will consider a ban on the release and sale of notebooks with images that “do not comply with moral and ethical standards.” The corresponding instruction has already been given by the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture.
The reason was Russian language notebooks that went on sale in Tver before the start of the school year. They caricature a man in a hat with earflaps with his tongue hanging out, painted in the colors of the Russian flag.
