Mureșan explained that the changes of players will continue at CFR, but without weakening the value of the team, being already in discussions with several footballers.

“At any club, players leave and others come, it's normal, it's a period and a mandatory dynamic. Of course we will find players, we are already in discussions with footballers to come, both Romanian and foreign, we will not weaken the team.

The official admitted that there could be further departures, including players wanted by the coach.

Sinyan is indeed out of contract, but we are still in discussions with him, there is a pretty good chance that he will leave. He is a very good boy and I appreciate him.”

The president of CFR Cluj spoke about the coach's future and the uncertainty on the technical bench.

“CFR cannot propose anything other than the title, because in the last 20 years it is the best performing club, clearly. We do not propose anything else, we are obliged to propose the same thing. After the last discussions with Pancu, I personally get along well with him, he is a very good coach, we helped each other. It's not clear that he's leaving, I feel like he's leaving, but he's not sure. Yesterday and the day before yesterday we were discussing the training camp, then, if he leaves, that discussion was deleted.”

The official said there is no name yet for the technical bench, but a decision will be made quickly if necessary.

“If Pancu will leave, CFR does not yet have a name for a coach, but the management says that they will name one in a maximum of two weeks, until the start of training camp.”
