Russia strikes Kharkiv again. Ten buildings were damaged after a drone attack

Russia launched a drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Tuesday, May 19, damaging ten buildings.

According to the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terehov, emergency crews of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were working on the scene to manage the destruction caused by the attack, Kyiv Post writes.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that Russian drone strikes were recorded in Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of Kharkiv city.
The latest attack follows another Russian drone attack on Kharkiv on Sunday night, May 17, when residential areas of the city were hit. That attack damaged private homes, broke windows and set fire to seven parked cars.
Local officials said no casualties or injuries were reported in Sunday's attack.
The back-to-back attacks highlight Russia's constant air pressure on Kharkiv.
In a statement made after the incidents, Mayor Ihor Terehov expressed his gratitude to the Defense Forces of Ukraine and air defense units, crediting them with destroying a significant number of aerial targets fired at the city and saving lives, homes and streets.
Before the attack, the Air Force warned about the movement of a group of drones in the direction of Kharkiv. According to Ukrinform, the Russians hit two districts of Kharkiv.
Recently, Ukraine launched one of the largest drone attacks on Russian territory, targeting 14 regions, according to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow.
In the capital, more than 80 drones were intercepted, but one of the strikes injured 12 people, mostly workers, near a refinery, Mayor Serghei Sobianin said.
Governor Andrei Vorobiov announced that three people died in the crash of drones in the Moscow region.
