Adrian Mihalcea, the technician from UTA Arad, was in tears at the end of the game with Slobozia, score 1-0, a result that confirmed Slobozia's relegation to League 2. At the end of the match, the coach hardly spoke about the outcome of the season, after which the former team was relegated.

Following these results, Unirea Slobozia is relegated directly to League 2, and the duels will be played at the dam:

Adrian Mihalcea, in tears after Unirea Slobozia – UTA 0-1: “Sometimes I give back exactly how I'm paid”

The Aradenian technician spoke about the club's internal problems, but also about the salary delays that have affected him recently.

“I feel sorry for Slobozia in the end… I would have liked to save them. It's not my fault for the things that happened in Slobozia, but the feelings remain.I'm sorry and I wouldn't have wanted to end up in this situation, to contribute decisively to their relegation.

Sometimes I give back exactly as I am paid. The salary arrears are quite high, but we are talking about principles and how fair and honest we are, not salary arrears. It's not about an amount of money, it's about communication.”

The technician also explained why he stopped watching the second half from the technical bench, choosing to go to the stands without announcing anyone from the team, a gesture he described as a form of protest against certain problems in the club.

“Yes, there are some things that bothered me and that was my way of protesting. Only I knew, not the players, it's a decision made by me. I'm fair and open to any dialogue and I don't agree with things, but I don't agree that I'm too bad, but when things don't go in the direction I consider.”

Adrian Mihalcea: “I have a contract with UTA”

The coach also spoke about his future, explaining that he still has a contract with UTA, but wants a period of peace after the end of the season.

“No, no, I still have a contract with UTA. Things have been discussed, but still, I don't know… I'm going on vacation. It's been 4 years since I've had such a long vacation and I want to calm down, because I want to continue my work.” concluded Mihalcea.
