Dacia has conquered the internet! Pictures of the Romanian model are going around the world

The model, entered by the German team Ollis Garage Racing, competed in the SP3T class and quickly became a fan favorite on the Nordschleife, especially after viral images on social networks of it battling on the circuit with incomparably more powerful cars.

The Dacia prepared by Ollis Garage Racing, with a 100% German crew, used a turbo engine from the Renault Sport range, which developed only 165 horsepower. Thus, the difference to the GT3 cars was huge, both in terms of top speed and financial resources or technology.

The moment that drew even more attention to the project came towards the end of the race. About three hours before the finish, the Logan suffered an incident where it lost a wheel and had to return to the pits on the platform. Although the race seemed abandoned, the car was repaired by the mechanics and sent back to the circuit.

In the end, Dacia finished the race in 107th place overall and 6th in class, with 92 completed laps, in an edition where many much higher rated crews did not see the checkered flag.

Including the team of Max Verstappen, four-time world champion in the Grand Circus, the main attraction of this year's edition at the Nurburgring, abandoned the race after technical problemsan aspect that further amplified the impact of Logan's story. Dacia managed not only to withstand 24 hours on the Nordschleife, but also to become one of the symbolic images of the 2026 edition.

• With a fastest lap of 10m22.613s at an average speed of 96km/h, the Logan was faster than several production-derived models that finished the race ahead of it. However, it was over a minute slower than the fastest lap in its class;

• The fastest lap of the race overall was 8m08.758s, achieved by the second-placed #84 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2;
