Targets in the Moscow Oblast

According to a statement from the Ukrainian service, the Ukrainian drones were hit Angstrom factory, which supplies the Russian defense sector with semiconductors and is on the US sanctions list. The Ukrainians also fired two oil pumping stations – Sonechnogorsk and Volodarskoye. All these facilities are part of the fuel and technological base of the Russian army.

At the Belbek airport, the Ukrainians attacked infrastructure and air defense means. According to the SBU, the Ukrainians destroyed the Pantsir-S2 system, as well as the hangar housing the radar included in the S-400 set. The attack also damaged devices for controlling Orion and Forpost unmanned aerial vehicles.

The list of damaged objects also includes a ground-air data transfer point, an air traffic control tower and one of the hangars on the base. The Ukrainian service emphasizes that hits on such resources limit the operational capabilities of Russian military aviation.

Chmara: We are weakening Russia's war potential

The head of the SBU assessed that the operation was of strategic importance for undermining Russia's combat capabilities.

— Such SBU special operations are crucial to weakening Russia's war potential. Hits on enterprises of the military-industrial complex, military infrastructure and oil logistics limit the enemy's ability to continue the war against Ukraine, Yevheniy Khmara said.

– These hits show that even the best-protected Moscow Oblast is not safe. The SBU and the Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to conduct precision special operations aimed at destroying the enemy's military resources, Chmara assured.

Four victims in the Moscow region

Russian authorities confirmed on Sunday that as a result of drone attacks on the Moscow region four people died and 12 were injured. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that its systems shot down 556 drones.
