There was a festive atmosphere in Hunedoara, in the match Corvinul – FC Bihorscore 1-1, at the end of which Florin Maxim's team received the trophy for winning the season from the second tier.
Those from Corvinul knew even before this stage that they are the champions of this season's League 2. Thus, the atmosphere was one of celebration for the Hunedo people.

The match against Bihor was played in front of a full stadium, and the Hunedoren fans welcomed Florin Maxim's students as heroes. The confetti cannons were not missing when the team entered the field.
Corvino's players played in the new equipment, which they will wear in the next Superliga.
Filip Ilie opened the scoring for the hosts in the 73rd minute, when he rose excellently and scored with a header from the perfect cross sent by Neacșa. The equalizer came 3 minutes later. Chirițoiu resumed in the net from only 3 meters.
Nobody left the arena in Hunedoara after the final whistle. Spectators kept their seats in the stadium to watch the celebration that marked the team's promotion to the first echelon of Romanian football after 34 years.
The Corvinu players put on their champion shirts and went through the middle of the “tunnel” of honor made by the guests. Many of them took the stage close to the children. They received the champions' medals, then came the trophy, which was received with cheers from the audience.
