I don’t throw away the banana peels, but bury them next to the strawberries: the berries are filled with sweetness – a liter jar per bush

Often, even experienced gardeners notice that strawberries in the height of summer produce small fruits, and the taste becomes sour or watery. Knowledgeable summer residents shared a simple trick that allows you to harvest a sweet harvest without unnecessary chemical fertilizers.

You can get a bountiful harvest of strawberries using regular banana skins. Cut the peels of five to six ripe bananas into small strips or simply tear them into small pieces with your hands. Make small indentations around the perimeter of the bush, retreating ten to fifteen centimeters from the center so as not to touch the roots. Bury the workpiece to a depth of five to seven centimeters and carefully cover it with earth. As the organic matter decomposes, it will slowly release potassium and trace elements directly into the root zone.

This method of nutrition strengthens the plant’s immunity, increases the sugar content of the berries and prevents the appearance of gray rot. And slugs and weeds bypass the plantings, since the soil remains clean and loose without chemical treatments.

As a result, you will get dense, aromatic berries, dense foliage and, most importantly, stable strawberry fruiting all summer long without interruptions or deformed fruits.
