Where is fuel the cheapest and the most expensive in Poland? Here's the latest data

Wednesday's data from the e-petrol.pl portal show that the average price of 95 gasoline in Poland dropped by 19 groszy during the week and currently amounts to PLN 6.28 per liter. Diesel oil saw an even greater reduction, as it became cheaper by 46 cents, after the previous period of the largest increases among fuels. A liter of diesel now costs on average PLN 6.81. “Autogas is also cheaper due to reductions in the prices of its deliveries to stations. A liter of LPG retails for PLN 3.72,” analysts say.
According to e-petrol.pl data, 95-octane gasoline currently costs the lowest in Podkarpacie, Upper Silesia and Greater Poland – PLN 6.22 per liter. The highest prices were recorded in Małopolska, where the average rate per liter is PLN 6.28.
“In the Pomeranian Voivodeship, however, diesel is the most attractive price – a liter costs PLN 6.79 there, and it costs the most in the Opole region and Warmia and Mazury – PLN 6.86. The latter also stands out with the lowest LPG prices – it costs there on average PLN 3.63 per liter. Autogas, offered at PLN 3.78 per liter, is the most expensive in Lower Silesia, Kujawy and Pomerania and in the mentioned Opole Voivodeship,” experts noted.

Lower fuel prices at Polish stations
Lower VAT rates on fuel have been extended from 23 to 8 percent until the end of May. and excise tax. This is reduced by 29 gr per liter of petrol and 28 gr per liter of diesel oil, i.e. to the lowest level allowed by the European Union.

In accordance with applicable regulations, the Minister of Energy publishes announcements specifying maximum fuel prices every working day. On Wednesday, the limits are: PLN 6.28 per liter of 95 petrol, PLN 6.87 for 98 petrol and PLN 6.84 for diesel oil. From Thursday, these rates will go up – the maximum price of EU95 petrol will increase to PLN 6.39, EU98 petrol to PLN 6.98 and diesel to PLN 6.92.
