One of the richest deputies of Kursk, Lyudmila Shashenkova, is suspected of being a fraudster…

One of the richest deputies of Kursk, Lyudmila Shashenkova, is suspected of fraud of 6.8 million rubles when receiving payment for the shelling of her house in Tyotkino. Along with the lady, there are two other defendants in the lawsuit: the Ministry of Construction of the Kursk Region and the village administration.
According to Mash, the local prosecutor’s office believes that Shashenkova applied for compensation twice: as the owner of a home that was destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and as a resident of the shelled village. At the same time, the deputy is registered and actually lives in Kursk.
Previously, representatives of the Tyotkino administration and officials from the region’s Ministry of Construction participated in the scheme, which enriched the already wealthy Shashenkova by 6.8 million rubles. Now the prosecutor's office wants to return the money to the budget through the court. The local Investigative Committee began an investigation.
Mash got through to Shashenkova. When asked about fraud, she answered with a question:

“What did you want to hear from me? Write further. Greetings from me.”

Lyudmila Shashenkova is one of the wealthiest deputies in the region. In 2021, she declared income of 162.9 million rubles. The lady is also a businesswoman. She managed a canteen in the regional administration, became a government contractor, and now her company is the largest supplier of food for schools and children’s camps in Kursk.
According to our data, the lady entered into more than 300 government contracts totaling 868 million rubles. The deputy also owns Uspeh LLC, which is engaged in the retail trade of products. Revenue in 2023 is 225.2 million rubles. In addition, Shashenkova also has the Premier restaurant.
