Mirel Rădoi and Gaziantep received unpleasant news, after the Turkish Super League team was sanctioned by FIFA with a transfer ban.
Several sources in the Turkish press note that the decision comes as a result of the club's financial problems, but the management has already prepared a plan to pay off the debt to lift the sanction.
Gaziantep, ban of three mercato windows
According to ajansspor.com, Gaziantep has received a transfer ban for three mercato periods.
“Super League side Gaziantep FK has received a transfer ban from FIFA. While the amount of the debt that led to this sanction has been established, it has been learned that the club's management has already prepared a payment plan.
Gaziantep FK was rocked by the news from FIFA, who decided to impose a transfer ban on the club. The amount of the debt is estimated at around 10-15 million Turkish Liras. If the payment is made, the penalty will be lifted.
The club's management intends to pay the amount in the coming period, most likely by next week, to lift the ban.”
